Adults · Supper club
Making friends as an adult is hard. A good dinner makes it easy.
One long table, a handful of small, beautiful courses, and a room that starts as strangers. You arrive not knowing anyone and leave with a group chat.
How the night goes
One table, a few courses, and a room that starts as strangers.
No mingling with a drink in your hand hoping someone talks to you. You are seated, you are fed, and the night is built to make conversation the easy part.
- 1
Doors, a pour, and a name card
You walk in, pour the bottle you brought, and find your card at the table. Phones go in the basket. Nobody asks what you do for work.
- 2
The chef tells you why this dish exists
Every course comes with its story: the ingredient, the technique, the reason it is on your plate. It is a Life Plus dinner, so you leave knowing something. It is also the easiest thing in the world to talk about with the person beside you.
- 3
One long conversation
A question or two lands on the table between courses. Not icebreaker games, just good prompts that get twenty-four people actually talking to each other.
- 4
Seats move so you meet the whole table
Between courses we shuffle a few seats around. By dessert you have talked to the far end of the table, not just the two people you got lucky next to.
- 5
Numbers swapped before you leave
The night ends the way the good ones do: someone starts a group chat, someone names it, and you already have plans to come back next month.
Who's at the table
Every month, a different community.
We host one crowd at a time so the table actually has something in common. Tell us which nights are yours and we will invite you to those first.
New to LA
For people who moved here and are still building their people.
Queer friendship
Friendship first. A warm room to widen your circle, no apps involved.
Over 40
Making new friends past forty, when it is supposed to be hard.
Parents' night off
A grown-up dinner and grown-up conversation. The kids stay home.
Creatives & makers
Writers, cooks, builders, artists. A table of people who make things.
More coming
Silver-haired mixers, industry nights, and whatever the list asks for.

Our first tables
You will not know a soul when you sit down. It never lasts.
